What came in the mail: R&P purses

(I apologize for being so tardy about posting this –– work has been
absolutely draining, which has made me rather lackluster.)
Spurred on by Stacie's rave of her Rapp & Posavek purse, I contacted Stevie
to get information about the deal. I went to the R&P site, and I was
instantly bespotted with the audra bag. I'm rather petite, so any "large"
bag can't exceed 10.5" width without looking too disproportionate, which
disqualified the audra bag –– phooey!
I was next taken with the vivienne bag, which was the perfect dimensions,
but on my monitor it was a bright red –– I was hoping for a deeper color.
While waffling on that, the carly tote began to grow on me, and I was
pleased to discover that it actually met my width requirement. I briefly
considered a metallic teal vivienne, but after a study of my wardrobe, I
decided on the more practical red. So, I decided to take the plunge and get
the viviene in red and the carly in white.
Now I normally wait a few days after placing an order before I start
checking for packages. Imagine my shock when I discovered a package only 2
days after placing my order! DH was rather amused by my cooing over my
discovery. :D To my delight, the ash red is indeed a deep red (akin to
dried rose petals), which works with many of my winter outfits (I own an
abundance of red sweaters). Both purses are lined in the most buttery soft
suede: a matching deep red for the ash red bag, and a gorgeous purple for
the white one. To my surprise, I really really love the carly tote: there
are multiple pockets for compartmentalization, and the bag's straps are
finely balanced with it's body so that it sits easily and comfortably on the
shoulder. I'll definitely be using it extensively this spring/summer!
So thanks to Stacie for (indirectly) giving me the nudge, and thanks to
Stevie for making it possible! :)

Oops, forgot to post about this.
I also ordered the Carly, but in black, and I ordered the Simone (the
gathered clutch) in the red. The shipping was fast, I received my
package very quickly also! Love the bags, I do wish the Carly was a
tad bigger, but it is a very nice bag and I will just have to switch to
my smaller wallet when I use this bag. The suede lining is well done!
