re casual footwear

Not sure about Uggs––I wanted a pair for awhile, now I've gone off
them. I do
want to invest in a pair of boots, though. Just which boots is the
question,
as I don't care for high heels on boots (or any shoe, for that matter)
I am
pretty tied to wearing Birks exclusively (the office wear/casual
line––too cold
for sandals!) and I don't think they do proper boots. But maybe...
My new love for casual yet non–sandal footwear is ballets. The soft,
flat, natural leather kind, like Brigitte Bardot wore. Now I just need
to find the right pair :)

I tried to email this directly to you but the message bounced. I apologize
for posting this to the group.
I hope you won't be offended by my suggestion, but I find it disconcerting
that you don't respond to threads in a way that lets us easily refer to the
post you are responding to. Starting a new thread when you are really
responding to someone else's post interrupts the flow of the thread. It
would be easier if you just clicked on "reply group" (or the equivalent on
your newsreader program) and then inserted your response at the bottom of
the preceding post.
Does this make sense?
