Heart Items? For a Bathroom?

"FashionBabe17" <FashionBab...@hotmail.com>
I thought I posted this last night but I dont think it went thru so if
it did forgive me for posting twice..
Anyways Im trying to do my new bathroom in hearts.. I found some cute
shower hooks at marshalls and some cute towels then I picked the rest
up at target.. But i cant seem to find anything else.. I'm wanting to
get some heart rugs and anything else that I could set around...
None of it really matches but I think its still going to look good when
I get done with it, But i found these pretty flower towels I want to
use but my mom said you cant mix hearts and flowers together but I'm
thinkin I might.. I need some input on this and what I should do..
Since I cant find heart wallpaper I might just paint some hearts on the
walls..
Heres some pictures of what I bought so you can get an idea of it all..

Of course you can match flowers with hearts. If you think it looks
good, why not? After all, it is your bathroom. I would, however, use
hearts only as an accent and keep your walls as simple as possible. In
case you ever change your taste, it will be much easier to redecorate.

Yeah, I think this is good advice. I don't see why you can't mix the
flowered and heart towels. Those flowered towels are a nice background for
the white/heart ones. But restraint on the walls is a great idea (and less
work too–unless you paint it!).

This month's Lucky magazine had some heart stuff in it. Like this rug:

I think flowers and hearts do match, especially roses. Lush makes a
bath bomb in a heart shape with rosebuds in it.

Very adorable! I especially like the shower curtain hooks and the atomizer
(if that's what it is). You can probably pick up some heart–shaped soaps
too, unless I missed that. I think the flowered towels look fine.

Okay...Haven't posted in forever and this new google navigation (or
whatever you call it) is foreign to me. Forgive me if this doesn't
post correctly.
ANYWAYS, I just got a catalog in the mail from Winterthur Gifts. They
had a few items (heart related) that might make cute knick knacks...
you can view them online at
www.winterthurgifts.com and search for valentine. HTH! Lindy
P.S. I've never ordered from them, nor do I have any affiliation.

You could have some towels embroidered with hearts in colors of your
choice, and just hang them as not–to–be–used decorative towels. Not
too big of an investment, and subtle too.
Heart shaped soaps and candles should be hitting the stores soon too.
