Stevie,
Is there a colored mascara you'd recommend in a really deep blue? Something
like the color of MAC "Contrast" eye shadow.
TIA
"Christmas with the Spangs" <spangliek...@netscape.net>
Rimmel Extra Super Lash in the color they call "Black Black".

Not sure if this is going to be blue enough, but there is one from
Bourjois in the Pump Up the Volume series ( greyish blue)
coup de theatre ( blue)
lengthening and curving mascara (royal)
and the wet look top coat is a light blue and their duochrome topcoat is
BLUE!
Also from Vincent Longo.. the curl mascara is in blue as well...
dior's show mascara has a bright blue and 2 other mascaras in their lines
have seriously blue tones
Tony and Tina, MUFE, TooFaced and Eyeko have navy blue
Cargo has blue along with Joey New York which has a duo.. (black and blue
too)
there's a lot out there in blue tones. depends on how blue it looks against
your skin. I know people who have used some colored mascara that it shows up
beautifully on them and almost zilch on me.

I looked at the Kiss Me mascara at Sephora last week but I ended up buying
Bourjois Pump up the Volume (which works really well) because it was half
the price. I know a lot of people on AF love the Kiss Me, can you tell me
what you like about it?

I've found that the Kiss Me does not dry out nearly as fast as regular
mascara does. If you usually end up discarding a mascara because it has
dried out, you might benefit from Kiss Me. I think it lasts me about
twice
as long as the regular (Senna) mascara I used to use. I easily get 3–4
months from one tube, applying it once or twice a day. One coat.
Donna, do you use the special primer before applying the Kiss Me? I
currently use Revlon's Lash Fantasy, which is pretty good at not leaving
raccoon eyes, but the primer step grows tiresome when I don't have much time
to do my face in the morning.

has never once created any problems for me with my sensitive eyes, whether

been disappointed.
I alternate between the regular and the waterproof (used when I might be
swimming or when it's cold out).

First of all, no raccon eyes! I hate tugging on and rubbing the undereye
area to remove regular mascara. It can't be good for the delicate skin
there.
Depending on how you use mascara––multiple coats? Do you follow the rule
about discarding a mascara after X months? How long does a usual tube of
mascara last for you?

are looking at cpu (cost per use), you may find that it is at least as cheap
as Bourjois.
Also, I find that it does not irritate my eyes or skin at all. The
ever–popular Maybelling in a pink and green tube makes my eyes itchy and
red.
In order to have a local supply, I got my hair salon to become a seller. I
committed to buying most of their first case. The employees (only 4 or 5)
all bought it to try––and they loved it. These are not women who are used
to buying expensive cosmetics, so I was amazed that they didn't flinch at
the price––even the wholesale price is more than they usually pay for
mascara. They are recommending it to everyone. Their first comment in
praising it is "No raccoon eyes!"

Definitely NOT this Scott Barnes Lash Varnish that I just received from my
50% order!!! This seems to be exactly like the Maybelline Great Lash that I
absolutely hate!! I wore SB yesterday and What A Disaster!!
L'Oreal mascaras are my absolute fave all of the time!! Featherlash or
Voluminous work wonderfully for me. I alternate with Dior Show Mascara
which has a super big brush and gives good coverage. I've had a slight
amount of flaking with it though.

Revlon Big Thick Lashes (I think that's the name of it...it never clumps or

like that....long tube that's sort of a dark burgundy color, but the mascara
itself is black. Both of these have awesome brushes!!!!

I've used Kiss Me's primer in the past but not really cared for it. Most of
the time I do this:
1. Use a spoolie type brush to separate my lashes;
2. Curl lashes;
3. Apply a coat of Talika Lipocils to upper and lower lashes;
4. ALLOW LIPOCILS TO DRY COMPLETELY!
5. Apply a coat of Kiss Me mascara
6. Quickly use the spoolie to separate lashes if they've clumped (if you
wait too long to do this, the spoolie will basically peel off the Kiss Me)
The Lipocils is supposed to promote lash growth. (My theory is that it is a
protective coating that helps prevent breakage, but that's just a theory.)
If you are happy with the condition and thickness of your lashes, you don't
need anything underneath the mascara.

I like the Rimmel Extra Super Lash mascara.
But do not buy the Rimmel Volum' Eyes Comb Mascara – I picked this up at
Walgreens last night & I HATE it! This is the worst mascara I have ever
bought!! First I shold have read the packaging because I thought it was a
mascara plus a mascara comb, I did not realize that you actually applied the
mascara with the comb. And I do not understand why they call it a "comb"
because its more like a stick with a couple of jagged parts, there are no
combs on it! I applied it this morning and it is the clumpiest mascara ever,
ugh! I almost chunked it in the trash but I think I will try another mascara
applicator and use it.
