Anyone ever use L–Cysteine to make hair grow faster?

"Lolabird" <sou...@yahoo.com>
Ugh, I just got a pretty bad haircut (she's a new girl at my salon and I
didn't want to say anything). It's not "bad", just too short for my tastes.
My hair takes forever to grow back and wondering if this supplement has
actually helped anyone? And if so, how long did it take to see results?
Thanks.

It might make it grow 0.1% faster. Take N–Acetyl–Cysteine if you want to
take cysteine. Hair growth is incredibly hard to influence. Any hair growth
stimulator should make it grow a little faster, like minoxidil. But, it will
take a few months and first you might get some shedding as dormant hairs
begin growing again (but first fall out).

I have taken silica supplements and that really makes my hair grow faster. Plus
I notice it benefits my nails too. I take 6 silica supplements daily, 2 after
each meal.
