say they never received it so you not only have lost the item, you

It is sad that it has gotten this way, but when sellers get ripped
off on
a regular basis, it is just a safety net for themselves and the

This doesn't make sense to me. If the Seller can present proof that
the item was in fact shipped [which should be easy enough for US
sellers as all couriers, and USPS provide receipts for all packages
sent,] and the Buyer forgot (or chose not to) to add insurance to the
package, the Buyer is usually left out in the cold, not the Seller.
My understanding was that PayPal sometimes restrict some Sellers,
allowing them only to accept a verified address because of credit
problems or excessive number of complaints. I think this is a Seller
issue not a Buyer issue.
