Phyto – What happens when you don't read instructions....

nos...@dccnet.com (Alexis)
Hi Everyone,
I love Phyto hair products, and the Phyto volumizing spray (Phytovolumea
Actif) is the HG for my fine, thin hair. So, on a recent trip to New York
& Sephora (no Sephoras where I live in Canada), I saw a Phyto product I'd
never seen before, & snapped it up. It was Phyto Mousse Volume for Fine &
Limp Hair. Pefect!
I eagerly washed my hair, and worked a big handful of this Phyto Mousse
Volume in my hair. However, as it dried, my hair became greasy, limp,
stringy, flat. Horrible. I tried the next day, using even more of this
Volume Mousse. Yuk. My hair was even worse. After 3 or 4 days of this,
I gave up. My hair never looked so bad. How could Phyto make such a bad
product? I love everything else they make.
I ended up taking the rest of the can home. Just came across it this
morning, and finally read the label:
1. Release a quarter–size amount into hand. Work thoroughly into hair...
RINSE THOROUGHLY.
Turns out that Phyto Mousse Volume is a Foam Shampoo that is supposed to
be rinsed out, not left in! I spent a almost a week in New York with
shampoo in my hair! no wonder it looked so bad.
I used it this morning, according to directions, and it really is a great
product. Just don't leave it in your hair!! alexis.

Alexis...these 2 products are my HG products too! Anyone with fine hair
should try the Phyto Mousse Foam Shampoo + Volumizing Spray combo out.
Funny about the shampoo mousse story.

lol! i did something similar in italy once... needed shampoo, grabbed 'dopo
shampoo' off the shelf without looking too closely at the label, thinking it
was some sort of super shampoo ('doppio' means 'double') worked it into my
hair, wondered why it wasn't foaming at all and left my hair super soft and
limp... and looked at the bottle again, realizing that it said 'dopo' (after)
not 'doppio'. i'd slathered myself in very rich conditioner.
