NY tax free shopping weeks

eatwelb...@aol.com (EatWelBWel)
I'm planning a Spring Fling at Woodbury Commons and would like to know how I
can find out when NY state has tax free weeks. Does it differ from when NYC has
them? How much advance notice do they give you? Or don't they do that anymore?

I think the last one was just in time for back–to–school shopping, and I
don't recall enjoying tax–free shopping more than twice a year. Anyone?
If you want company and you can give *me* some advance notice...well, it
won't be tax–free, but there would definitely be cofarbing!

It's definitely before school begins that they have the tax free week.

Look on the State's Web site?
Starting Monday, January 31, 2005, and ending on Sunday, February 6,
2005.
How much advance notice do they give you?
They've already announced it to the merchant community.
Now, if they're anything like Texas, the merchants will be advertising
it that week.
Or don't they do that anymore?
Oh, they do that... seek, and ye shall find:
