I can't use the Biore, but I do use the Clari T organic nose strips.
They are actually cheaper than the Biore, made with only herbal /
vegetable based products and they do contain Tea Tree which helps keep me
from turning red.
Their website is earththerapeutics.com.

The ClariT strips are more effective than the current Biore strips for
my nose, although I'd still get use out of Biore strips if the ClariT
strips were no longer available (they seem to be available at just about
every Whole Foods Market in the Dallas area, in case someone is
interested and has never seen them. I don't know if Whole Foods
generally carries them or if it's regional).
Biore strips seemed far more effective (and painful, although I didn't
particularly care about that) when they first came out. They've been
softer over the last few years so while they may feel better, they don't
seem to do as good a job as they used to for me. I picked up the Kose
version of the strips in a small Japanese market a couple of years ago
and they're soso in the efficacy department. With the Kose strips I
seem to get metric buttloads of big blackheads (bigger than I ever
thought could fit in such small pores) from the lower third of my nose
but nada from the top twothirds. The ClariT strips seem to work more
uniformly but I get no more than half the number of blackheads out from
the lower area of my nose than I usually get with the Kose. I'm thinking
I should use half a Kose strip on the bottom half of my nose and half of
a ClariT strip on the top half to get the best of both worlds :)
My biggest annoyance with any strip is the attempt to do my chin area.
The blackheads there aren't very noticable but it still bugs me that I
can't get them out. The strips tend to wrinkle and pucker and they seem
not to adhere as tightly to the skin on my chin as they do on my nose.
