Men's low rise khakis
A dumb question but I find no answers anywhere else - has anyone found low
rise men's khakis or chinos? I love low rise jeans but need khakis for
work - I hat eregular Khakis that are so high in the waist - it seems only
women's Khakis come in low

Alternative to Botox
Once again, I'm perusing the Sephora site, shopping w/o shopping, and I've
seen this. It's touted as an alternative to "the dreaded needle". What do
you think?
The directions are pretty darn restrictive. I wonder if it's worth it. And

Lancome on Sephora?
I've been browsing the Sephora site tonight. Shopping, but not shopping -
just updating my extensive favorites list. I've just noticed that Lancome
is all over the site. Sephora never sold Lancome before, did they? This is
new, right?

Christmas gift gratification
I got the sweetest thank you note today from my 18 year old niece for her
Christmas gift. I gave her the Sephora midnight train case, the big one,
stuffed to bursting with products and samples of all kinds, mostly brands
she had only heard of....sh

Minnetonka moccasin question
I just got around to trying on some Minnetonka beaded moccasins I got for
Christmas. My usual size feels a little tiny bit short in the toe. Can
anyone tell me whether these shoes stretch out at all as you wear them?
Thanks,

pullover sweater makeover
I have a cotton crewneck pullover I never wear.
Cut it up the middle, sewed on some grograin ribbon on each edge, made
buttonholes and installed some neat buttons ====> cardigan.
This could be the quick and certainly cheap solution for menopausal

Another dry cleaning question
I have a BCBG knit wrap dress that is 94% polyester, 6% spandex (it feels
like the old nylon type knit, like an original DVF style) that is tagged
"dry clean only". There is nothing structural about the
dress--interfacings--that would go awry if it

Origins Modern Friction
Any comments on this? It's described as "Nature's gentle dermabrasion"
(and they make a point of saying it's not a scrub). I picked up a
sample, but it's hard to tell. My skin is ruddy (probably some rosacea)
and the sales lady recommended that I ap

OT - Help Catching some Feral Cats
I need a little help. I'm feeding 2 feral cats right now - they are both
gorgeous. One appears to be a full blooded persian, the other is an orange and
white tabby. We've purchased a dog house for them and also a huge heated dog
bed to help get them

a horrible prada nightmare
ust before going to bed I put a load into the washing
machine, including a shirt by Prada. I wake up in
the middle of the night bathed in sweat. Did I or didn't
I check the care label in the Prada shirt? I try to
get back to sleep but the only thing I

OT- Xmas tree
Well, I said I'd share pics of my tree when I got the camera software
loaded on this machine. Better late than never, eh? I can't remember my
Photobucket password (will have to get that off of the old computer..
sigh) so I put them in my Yahoo photo

L'Oreal ReNoviste
This is the chemical peel version of the L'Oreal microdermabrasion kit. I
don't know if it is similar to Lancome's new chemical peel, but it came out
shortly after Lancome launched theirs.
I have only used the peel one time and did not see or feel a
