Minnetonka moccasin question

"Smokey" <SmokeyinNewEngl...@yahooey.com>
I just got around to trying on some Minnetonka beaded moccasins I got for
Christmas. My usual size feels a little tiny bit short in the toe. Can
anyone tell me whether these shoes stretch out at all as you wear them?
Thanks,
Smokey

Yes, they will. What's more, they will mold themselves to the shape
of your foot for your most comfy fit.
I love Minnetonka moccs...have been wearing them since 1989. That's a
really nice Christmas present.

Yep. Put them on with some heavy socks and wear them while you vacuum
or something, then they should be perfect with light socks or bare
feet.
I love these things and have worn them since I was a little girl. It's
so weird that they're super–chic right now.

I have three pairs of Lands End driving mocs, which I love. They are
wearing out on the bottom (those little round nubs) and they have changed
the style to one I don't like. Guess I'll check out Minnetonka!

I read these posts with interest. I have a narrow foot and I was concerned
about how well these shoes would stay on my feet. Any input?

I can only speak on the men's shoes, but they seem to be made pretty narrow, so
I'd guesstimate you wouldn't have a problem.

Another Minnetonka fan here, yes the women's run on the narrow side as
well so you should have no problems w/ them staying on your feet.
IMO Minnetonkas are a great shoe for the money and they actually will
break in and conform to the shape of your feet. I learned the hard way
that I need to stay away from their mocs that don't have arch supports
or cushy insoles. But many of their slides, clogs and mocs DO have arch
supports and good cushioning on the insoles and I'm sticking with these
styles from here on out.

I think they stay on very well. I've had mine for a few months and love
them. I gave one of my daughters a pair for Christmas so she would stop
borrowing mine and I just ordered a pair for my other daughter.

Wow, talks about what goes around, comes around. I had a pair of these
moccassins in 8th grade and just loved them. They were incredibly comfy and
stretch. I wonder if they are lurking in the recesses of my closet at home.

melizabeth, you took the words right out of my mouth! I *loved* these in
8th/9th grade. I wore my first pair of minnetonka driving mocs to death and
then could not find a replacement locally. The first pair was bought on
Long Island, but the second pair was secured on a family vacation to
Colorado. I better check the closet next time I visit my parents!

I forgot to email my mom about these! I will have to do that ASAP!

For me, it depended on the style. The stiffer leathers stretched a bit, the
softer leathers stretched a lot more. By the end of a summer, deerskin or
mooseskin would be downright floppy, but my favorite white moccs with
rhinestones (which I've bought 3 pairs of, but are now discontinued) would just
ease a little bit.

I used to have lavender ones many years ago. They last a Hell of a long time
and yes, they seem a little short in the toe at first, but they definitely
stretch out and kind of conform to your foot.
