OT: Seattle yoga class?

"nimbex" <nimbe...@yahoo.com>
I am visiting Seattle for about a week and am looking for a good
yoga class. I am going to be staying downtown Seattle in the Westin
hotel, but will have access to a car. Any help is appreciated!

I go to Santosha Yoga ( http://yoga4everyone.com ) and highly recommend it.
It's in the Madison Park neighborhood, which is not far from downtown. If you
are going over their winter break, they have a reduced schedule of classes
aimed at all levels; their regular schedule is as shown on their web site. HTH.

They probably have one that you could attend for a week at the Washington
Athletic Club in Downtown Seattle or try at a YWCA, Aqua Dive Health Club in
Lake City, or even a Community Center. I live here, but do not take Yoga.
There are always flyers every month on the bulletin board for various Yoga
Classes around here (some that are pay as you go, which is what you're
seeking) if you go to the Puget Consumer's Co–op grocery in Fremont, West
Seattle on California Avenue SW, or Green Lake just off of Aurora.

I *love* this studio – nothing fancy, just good teachers in general, and
it's not too far from downtown:

I used to take lessons from the director of this next place about
17 years ago when he was a mere teacher, and he was really good. I
haven't been to this particular incarnation, but if he continued in the
same vein it should be good. Also not too far from downtown.

It's winter, so you might not mind the heat so much! ;)
