What are *you* wearing today?

54 high 40 low It is finally warming up with rainstorms approaching
fromthe north. I plan to go no farther today than the local shopping
center for routine errands. In the morning I'm cleaning my makeup
brushes, finishing the decorating and getting the last gifts wrapped for
mailing so I can watch football this afternoon. This evening DH and I
are going to dinner.
I am currently wearing

white world's softest socks not to be confused with the world's softest
sock slippers sold at Costco I had on earlier this a.m.

blue and white NB tennis shoes
Dinner attire
black heavy turtleneck
gold watch on chain, moon and stars set in diamonds
gold double hoop earrings with pearl studs at top
black and white herringbone SRC a line wool skirt

gray fun fur and sequin scarf

Heading out in a bit to do all my holiday shopping, the testdrive for Joe's
holiday party makeover and just shopping with some girls from the beauty
boards–

black leather blazer
black vintage coach flap bag with my black coach wristlet inside as wallet
no jewelry. I rarely wear any but my wedding and engagement rings (which
infuriates DH as he wants me to wear jewelry more!), and today is no exception.

I rarely even wear my rings, as I can't wear them weightlifing, don't
like leaving them in my gym locker, and go to the gym almost every
day. If I remember I put them on when I go out on a weekend night.

Nah. He just gets upset that I don't appreciate jewelry like most women do. I
do wear it, and will buy it, but it's not something that I must wear each day.
He wishes I'd be more "ladylike" in this respect.

You know you're life is hectic when you can't remember if you've already
posted to this today.
56 degree high DH calls this balmy. We're supposed to have rain all
day tomorrow. I was out doing errands before 10 a.m, did banking, mailed
packages and bought two gift baskets. I am waiting for the UPS man to
deliver the middle child's new Dell laptop so I am home for the rest of
the day cleaning up the weekend mess, addressing cards, wrapping gifts
and trying to maintain my sanity and good humor.
