back to mac question

do these tubes and pots need to be completely empty? i guess i need to know
how much they will care. i have a few products that i'm just not into anymore,
and i wonder if they should be completely emptied before returning them. tia!

Nope, they don't have to be empty...which is handy to know when you
buy a color that doesn't works out.
BTW...they take other containers too. Big hint to nailpolish junkies!

I was under the impression they only take plastic MAC containers, not glass.

I should have said they take *all* containers. Or at least the MAC
that I go to (Robson St, Vancouver)takes everything. Nail polish
bottles, eyeshadow pots, lipstick tubes, compacts, other tubes and
bottles etc. Also, I found out the only lipstick you can't redeem for
is the Viva Glam lipsticks since the proceeds got to charity.
I'm going to check under my sink for old MAC containers! Free lippie
is a good thing.

Ohh I will have to call mine and see if they will take all containers now... I
started buying the Studio Matte instead of Studio Satin for the simple fact
that they wouldn't take my glass bottles once...
