BE Mineral Veil question

"Smokey" <SmokeyinNewEngl...@yahooey.com>
I've been using and quite like the BE powder (Fairly Light) I got in a small
kit on QVC a while back. I keep seeing references to topping it with
mineral veil. Is this necessary/helpful? Do I need it while Sephora still
has FF going on?
Thanks,
Smokey

I've found the mineral veil helpful for mixing with #2 to better match
my skin tone, but as a "sealer" or finisher, I haven't found it as
helpful. Usually within an hour I'm blotting my t–zone with my pressed
powder compact.

I bought both products with FF code. I have just started trying both. I do
think the mineral veil adds a luminosity to my complexion, but the difference
is subtle. I am using the lightest shade of the BE foundation, so the mineral
veil might be more dramatic on a darker complected person.
BTW, how much of the BE powder is this supposed to take for a single coverage?
I use a fair amount of it per application, and I find I have to put on a
moisturizer first for the BE to stick to..is that normal?

I don't know what's normal, but I use very little –– the swirl the brush in
the lid trick that they tell you to use. I use moisturizer, but have to
wait for it to soak in quite well before I use the BE.
