Lipstick Bleeding

"bre" <cos...@cox.net>
I have hit that magic age where my lipstick bleeds. Has anyone tried
anything that worked?
Thanks.

DuWop makes a reverse lip liner (no color) that works really well for me.

Do you smoke? That exacerbates the problem. Use a silicone–based foundation or
primer to fill in the creases and a pencil to define your lipline.

This product has been a miracle for my lips. Because my lips are dry, I
always want a moisturizing lipstick/gloss, but the feathering/bleeding was
quite bothersome. The DuWop liner creates an invisible barrier that has
thankfully restored a distinct lip line.

L'Oreal used to make a clear liner pencil for just this purpose––is it still
available?

I need this! But I never heard of "DuWop." Is it available at
drugstores?

I think I found it at Nordstrom. I have never seen the DuWop line in
drugstores. I'll bet Sephora carries it.

I have gotten my DuWop products at Nordstrom and Sephora.

Thanks for the DuWop info, Jeanne & Geri. I'm only 10 minutes from a
Sephora's so I'll soon be off to stop the bleeding.

Prestige has a white eye pencil for $3.00 and Jordana has a white eye pencil
for $1.00 that perform similarly to the invisible lipliners. I say this, having
paid an idiotic $14. for a clear pencil from Prescriptives.

Woo hoo! Thanks, Mal. I need a white eyeliner also, so I appreciate
this BOGO recommendation!

I'm sure I will drag my feet on this but I really should try out one of
these things (drugstore or dept store, doesn't matter as long as it works
well).

BTD: I've been using the DuWop reverse lip liner pencil; and I'm ppretty
sure Benefit has a similar product but I haven't tried it.

I'll second the DuWop Reverse Liner. I think it works pretty well. I still
have a bit of the L'oreal clear liner on hand also but its been nearly five
years since I bought it so I don't know if L'oreal still makes it.

L'Oreal does still make theirs. I contemplated one about 2 months ago. I
didn't get one because I need to exaggerate my upper lip slightly and I
couldn't figure out how to do it with the clear liner (not being able to see
exactly where I was drawing the line).

"MissLivvy" <Xeveryidiwantistak...@yahoo.com>
I'd try invisible liner, or even a colored liner. If you are not currently
using liner, I highly recommend it. You get much better control/definition
of your lip shape. Also, there are some tricks you can do to make your lips
appear fuller if you like.
