Lorac eyeshadow duos – packaging gripe!

Just bought a beautiful Lorac e/s duo called Leather & Lace, a finely
glittered black with satiny lavendar shade, one of three really pretty duos.
My complaint is that at $28, I would prefer at least to have them contained
in a decent compact, not just a little tray that slides into a clear snap
plastic box––you have to slide the little tray containing the pans out. I
suppose this is professional makeup artist packaging, but not practical for
me because this snap plastic box will probably not hold up over time. Once
the little flap wears out and breaks off, I'll be left without adequate
protection for the eyeshadows and I keep them for up to six years (because I
have so many).
Did I possibly miss getting a compact that was suppossed to go with this
product when I made my purchase at Sephora, unassisted?
