FashionBab...@hotmail.com (Heather Renee)
Where will you be and what are you standing in line or getting up
early for?
I'd love to hear what everyone bought when they return back home..
I'm happy to say all my shopping is done and wrapped!! yay!
Just going to go shopping for myself tomorrow and pick up a few items
I think someone might need..

Well, uh, I'm working nights this week, and I just went out to get
breakfast (it's about 5:51am here) and I passed a Target' store which
opens today at 6:00 and the lot is jammed and people are already lined
up.
I'd love to hear what everyone bought when they return back home..
Well, some people call me a shopaholic, often with unprintable
adjectives prepended :) but when I get off I'm gonna sleep the rest
of the day and maybe venture out shopping tomorrow ... maybe. :)

I do sort of feel like shopping, but I am actually afraid of the noxious crowds
and nasty parking situations on this day so I probably will avoid stores!

The only store I want to go to today is KB Toys/Toys 'R' Us. I want
the Family Guy action figures, especially Brian.
I know they probably sold out of them before the store opened (I
remember Holiday Barbies being sold off the loading docks by
unscrupulous employees) but what the hey, I'm going to give it a shot.

I will go back to the stores in January, as there are just too many people
here to shop in actual stores at this time of the year. If I can't get it
online, I don't need it.

The stores are out of so much in January. I have three children with
birthdays betwen December 29 and January 29 so I shop for them now. If
you can go to the stores this week on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday (and
they are all open late if you are working), you will still have a good
selection. I keep a notebook of things I can't get on line and then try
to shop at times when the stores aren't busy. The dinner hour is a good
time here so we just eat a bit later.

My mother tried to get me to go to the outer ring of Hell (aka Walmart) on
Friday for one of the $25 bikes for a young boy we know. I didn't make it, but
went on Sat. and lo and behold, there was only one $25 bike left. The store
wasn't as crowded as I thought, and I found great parking.

I ventured out about 5:30pm on Friday. I went to Whole Foods in search of a
Turkey Dinner. The Highlands Inn was a gourmet delight, but it wasn't exactly
mashed potatoes and stuffing...if you get my drift.
Anyway, I found a spot right in front of Macy's and browsed the stores. I
bought a new cell phone and 3 pieces of See's Candy. Nothing else really
struck my fancy. Now...that could be because I go "shopping" ever weekend and
there wasn't much new to look at. Macy's had some new colors in Cashmere, but
I just put away all of my cashere and the number of sweaters I have is
staggering, so I just tried to ignore those new sherbet–inspired ones. :(
After Macy's I headed to Marshall's, but nothing struck my fancy. After that
it was Ross...nothing there. I went to Border's and browsed the kid's books.
There was a 3 year old girl there with her dad at 10pm. What was THAT about?
She just walked up to me and asked me to get her a book and started talking to
me. Now...I am pretty harmless, but that thing makes me nervous. Someone
could have just walked off with her.
Ok..back on topic. I didn't get any books, but I did spy 2 new Wiggles books
for my "nephew". One has GLOW IN THE DARK STICKERS!!! I went home and put
them both on my amazon list so I can order them next week when the paycheck
comes.
