Last thursday at the mall: earrings from Lane Bryant, really pretty
and simple dressy ones.
A very cute Hello Kitty wallet for my sister for Christmas to go with
her Hello Kitty purse (that was a VERY early Christmas present)
I passed by a Trade Secret in the mall and recognized OPI bottles at
long range but they had no colors that spoke to me. They also had
Essie but didn't have any Ballet Slipper.
On the way out of the mall I happened to catch sighti of OPI in the JC
Penney salon and checked it out. I saw a very pretty light pink and
checked out the name: Hawaiian Orchid, which is the #2 most popular
OPI color so I lemminged it.
Friday I had my brows done: $5.and my brow lady said to me: "You've
lost some weight, haven't you." Priceless. :)
I also lemminged the L'Oreal Cashmere Perfect foundation.
Saturday was the Holiday party of my support group, dinner, dancing,
music.
I wore a beaded silk tunic style top and long black satin skirt, mid
heeled ornamented satin D'Orsays (bought for occasions like this some
time ago) and silk thigh high stockings ( a splurge)
Makeup was MAC studio fix in NC20
Maybelline liquid eyeliner
MAC powder shadow in Trax
MAC powder blush in Breath of Plum
MAC Whirl lipliner
MAC Viva Glam IV lipstick with MAC Russian Red lipglass over it.
L'Oreal Double Extend mascara.
Scent was Obsession.
The music sucked, the DJ's talked too much and there were too many
raffle giveaways. But I did win a Mary Kay Satin Hands product set in
a cute little bag.
Today: more "foot petals" I needed a pair for my black patent mary janes.
I'll be making pie and deviled eggs later on this evening.

Makeup, it takes believing in. Like a magic carpet, it's belief that
makes it fly. Otherwise, it's just a rug.
If you believe in it, makeup has a magic all it's own.
Of course, makeup is only dimestore magic. But it works well enough,
when it's used properly.",
