Washing with Woolite

mpam...@aol.comnospam (Mpamber)
I was reading another thread about wool sweater and it says something about not
washing with Woolite. What is wrong with Woolite and what am I supposed to use
in place of?
I bought a washable suede winter coat and it says to use Woolite on tage.

When I bought my washable suede jacket from Nordstroms the salesperson gave me
3 small bottles of Woolite.
However, the jacket did shrink a bit even though I followed the directions,
which disappointed me.

How did you dry coat? Isn't the shrinkage problem a dryer problem? That is heat
from dryer making it shrink. I suppose if clothes are washed in too hot of
water for fabric that could also cause shrinkage.

Laid flat to dry, no electric dryer useage.
Hope your washing experience is a non–shrinking one.

I don't think it's always caused by drying wool. I washed a wool sweater by
hand and laid it flat; the next day it was small enough for my daughter :)
