Don't you just love it when...?

"cofarb" <do...@cofarb.com>
Don't you just love it when you buy something in an unusual color or style
and when you get it home you realize that you have another item that goes
with it *perfectly*?
My new, overpriced, probably non–functional greenish–grey suede hiking boots
are a dead–on match with a pleated corduroy Hilfiger miniskirt that I bought
a few months ago at an outlet. (These are the boots:

Last summer I bought a cute French Connection skirt that was made of the
wildest "sherbet" colors: tangerine, turquoise, green, yellow. At home I
discovered an ancient cropped chunky cotton sweater that came from a
hand–made sweater shop in Maine; for lack of a better term, it was
colorblocked with the exact same colors as the new skirt. No one believed I
hadn't bought them together.
I just love it when that happens. I think it's the a.f. version of kismet.

p.s. Trying to finance my purchases by selling purses and Wolford tights on
ebay: www.tinyurl.com/68g26 . I love to do ebay–biz with other a.f.ers. If
you bid and win, please let me know so I can throw in some extras.

And if you bought a tom turkey, don't be surprised if it doesn't have
any organs! <grin/duck>

It's a great feeling! A couple of years ago, Lauren had some great
striped sweaters for spring. I didn't feel like spending the Lauren $
and then I found similar house brand one at Meier & Frank – in shades of
periwinkle, coral, yellow and red. Went home and found that my new
Lands End cropped twills exactly matched the coral. I got bonus
shopping points from my friends, who also were stunned I hadn't bought
them together :–).
