What are *you* wearing today?

"ahmward" <nospam.ahmw...@yahoo.com>
The high is supposed to be 60 degrees but I think it will be colder
because there was so much frost on the lawn last night. I baked a mince
pie this morning and am staying home to clean, wrap gifts and meet with
the decorator and contractor to finalize kitchen remodeling plans. I am
currently quite cozy in a white LE turtleneck and Nordstom iris sweats
but for the afternoon I'll change to
heavy white RL fisherman's sweater
IM dark denim jeans
white socks and NB tennis shoes
gold Seiko watch citrine studs
Furla velvet rose handbag
short black cordoroy jacket

Pouring rain here with a temperature of 56. We need the rain so bring it on.
Grocery store and a stop into Target:
Stone colored cotton twill slacks from Mervyns
White short sleeve cotton top
Tommy Hilfiger long sleeve denim shirt left open
Black Aerosole leather low heel mules
Black Coach handbag
Silver hoops, usual wedding ring and watch
Feels like a spaghetti with meatsauce (dinner) kind of day.

3/4 sleeve, slit–neck t–shirt, patterned, in pale yellow/tan shades (Cherokee)
long black matte jersey skirt, slit up both sides (ancient BR)
camel square–toed knee–high boots (Franco Sarto)
moonstone and garnet drop earrings

with a big pink heart at the neckline/center chest

This sounds too cute and makes it easier to brave the rain!

Thanks, Carol! It does help! I got the umbrella at Target fairly
recently, so you martini fans should be able to grab one for yourselves!
Rainy/stormy and 60s YET AGAIN. Fortunately I don't have to go anywhere
except for kid dropoff/pickup. For finalizing the Turkey Day menu,
planning the logistics, chopping various things that need chopping,
making out DD's birthday party invitations, wrapping her gifts, making
out our Xmas card list, and various other indoor pursuits...
– The Limited "Drew" stretch pants, flat–front with a crease, in black
(*love* these – I got them at TJ Maxx for cheap and they make my butt
look amazing!)
– Mossimo stretch knit scoopneck top with 3/4 sleeves in a medium rose pink
– black leather Aerosoles ankleboots with square toes and stacked heels
– wedding set
– small diamond stud earrings
– Clipper Mist martini umbrella again, sigh

I'm not sure why i answer this! :–)
Dreary out, looks like rain. Still homebound w/bad neck,
so all my "work" clothes still wait.
Today, dark grey fleece pants, blue t–shirt, black cozy socks
and black fleece poncho. Liberated woman, no bra today! :–)
Rocking chair and big cushy pillows, hot coffee,
very cozy for a rainy day. Christmas shopping on the internet–
What a lifesaver this year!

Sunny and in the 50s today but I stayed in all damn day cooking for
tomorrow. Yay! I love Thanksgiving. This year is going to be a little
bittersweet though because I found out yesterday that my brother and his
wife are moving out of state and given my family's general dislike of
travel, I have a feeling this may be the last time for quite a while
that the whole family is together for Thanksgiving. Sniff. Anyhoo, for
cooking up a storm:
– Guess jeans, medium wash
– Tryst mottled blue knit v–neck with 3/4 sleeves and
flowers/leaves/vines embroidered all over the front (also in blue – very
subtle)
– Nike Airliners
– wedding set
– small diamond stud earrings

Once the huge turkeyfest was on the downhill slide, I slipped upstairs and put
on:
greeny gold raw silk bateau neck sleeveless top with big wide self belt tied at
waist
brown BR skirt with slit at left thigh
brown pointy toed mules with embroidery, sequins & beads
it was a lovely day!

What I wore for Thanksgiving was a navy sweatsuit and a white t shirt, since
our Thanksgiving has been postponed until Sunday. What we ate for
non–Thanksgiving supper tonight:
Roasted brussels sprouts, first tossed in olive oil and kosher salt (a.f.
suggestion from last April I've been waiting to try)
Saute of chicken chunks, capers, tomato, garlic, onion, olive oil, white
wine
Salad with a nice blue cheese dressing
Australian Chardonnay
