Boden – good, bad or so–so?

nanmor...@hotmail.com (nm53211)
Any reviews on Boden? I started receiving the catalog, and the things
look nice and some are unique – but how is the quality? The price
seems very reasonable if the quality is nice.
I get the kids one, too, but not much for a baby boy – but there isn't
much for a baby boy anywhere :(

I just received my first order which included a sweater and a t shirt. Seems
like good quality for the money. I'm happy.

I have bought a number of things from them over the past two years and
am pleased with all of them ... they often have good offers ... the
last I used was buy 4 things and get the least expensive free ... my
four choices were all over 75 quid so I think I did well with that ...
they also often offer free shipping ...

I live in their stuff. It's good quality for the price, is
how I'd put it. Not top notch tailoring, but for
mass–produced it's pretty good and not too expensive.

I got a skirt and shirt last spring, and though I faithfully followed their
size chart, the skirt was a no–fit which I returned. They also have no petites,
so I have not been really tempted to try again.

The only people who wear Boden in the U.K are yuppie mummies who are
called Binty or Smilly or some rediculous name, married to a husband
who makes a lot of money while being an obnoxious twat about it, have
a house in the Cotswolds and live in Putney, but yearn to live in
Chelsea.
They all drop their kids off to school in a huge 4x4 or people
carrier, have a nanny and– more importantly, look and dress the same.
These women –just as bad as the Usher/ So Solid minded Chavs on
council estates– do a great dis–service to British style. Maybe it's
seen as lovely and quaint over the pond in the U.S, much like Laura
Ashley, but over here it's truely dire and best left to the Sunday
Mail readers.
