Today I think I got the holy grail of facials and at a salon really
close to my work and home. The aesthetician was highly recommended by
my hairstylist and his wife and she was the mentor for the woman I had
been seeing, the one who won Mrs. California a few years ago. Anyway I
was there for two hours and the treatments included
mild lactic acid peel...just a bit of tingling
papaya enzyme mask
Karen Herzog oxygen mask
drops of vitamins A, C, E and aromatherapy serums with shots of oxygen
sprayed on the skin and the best face massage I've ever received
Paul Scerri minty toning mask
Murad brightening serum
The esthetician completed two years of training and education in Greece
in the 1960s. At her school there were 12 faculty members on the staff
and it was solely for estheticians. Part of the training was in France.
After school she worked at pharmacies and then at an Elizabeth Arden Red
Door salon. She came to CA to get her bachelor's degree but then
returned to Greece. She has had her salon for 10 years and carries DDF,
Paul Scerri, Murad and other brands. She translated for Dr. Murad when
he conducted seminars in Greece and she knows others such as June Jacobs
and the person who started DDF. I was so thrilled with the results that
I made an appt. for mid January and normally I don't get facials more
than three months apart.

Sounds like a winner! I can usually make a good assessment by the second
treatment with facials, massage, etc. If it's as good as the first, the rest
of them usually are.
