Sephora lured me again

"ahmward" <nospam.ahmw...@yahoo.com>
This is it. I will tear up my Sephora catalogue and delete all of those
e mails so I do not order another thing. Last night I hopefully placed
my final order until the end of the year
Hard Candy lunch box...for me or a birthday gift for one of the girls
Philosophy cinnamon buns...either Leilani or Laurie raved
about the scent
Lorac licked kissed bitten lip polish collection...I better start using
gloss again to justify this one
Sephora girl pearly bubble bath violet (sweet almond)...wanted the free
shipping and will use it
Fresh soy face cleanser to go .68oz for my travel kit

Good move on the Cinnamon Buns, Audrey! :) It's definitely a yummy scent,
and just perfect for the holidays. To me, this is their best scent they've
ever made, and while a few others come close, the Cinnamon Buns is
unbeatable.

I would love to know what you think of the Lorac collection when you've had a
chance to try it. I've had that on my wishlist since I heard about it, and now
I'm debating whether to ask DH for it for Xmas and hope he actually gets it, or
just buy it for myself and end the anticipation!

That Sephora holiday catalog is *dangerous*!! It's sooo totally tempting
that I'm already salivating over the back page and I haven't even had the
chance to open it! I need those Philosphy goodies like the Marshmallow
Cream and the new Cookbook with Apple Cider, Hot Cocoa and Eggnog shower
gels. I can't wait to visit a actual Sephora soon when I go to LA for my
b–day. Maybe it is time to place a Sephora order online though, since it's
been quite awhile since I've done that.

For me, the problem with a product like this is that I began salivating by
simply reading about it. I don't think I could stand to have it on me, lol.
I'm sure it would cause me to gain 5 lbs (and all from real cinnamon buns).

I received a sample of cinnamon buns with the box I received today so I
won't have to wait to try it. I became disenchanted with Philosophy
products a while ago but your posts have made me reconsider them. From
now until the first of the year I will make a greater effort to enjoy my
winter scents.

This arrived for me in the mail today. It's a very cute, little set.
The colors I have tried so far look nice on me and feel good too, not
too sticky.

Is Sephora American? I remember I spent a fortune in the Paris stores
(there was one conviniently close the Louvre, where the majority of
Paris fashion week was held for the A/W 04 shows.) I brought one of
those chunky metallic eye pencils Sephora do so well in (almost) every
colour. I went home and over excitedly and showed my friends "these
cool pencils I got froom this French store" to be told, "oh, there's a
Sephora in Brent Cross."
I felt a bit foolish, but I consolled myself that no one else could
get the pencils, as only the Paris store did them.
Tell you who else gets my money, cosmetic wise? Benefit. Their High
Beam is a god send. The girls are on commision, at the counter, so
they want you do spend money and boy are they pursuavsive.

I am just about to run out of mine. Do you know if this is a year around
scent or seasonal (like I presume the Eggnog is)?

It also mixes well on a shower puff with TBS Nut shower gel.

Some of the scents are seasonal or limited run. Cinnamon Buns was once,
at least as I recall it, a limited run and I couldn't find it for a
period of time. Now it's year round, probably because it was such a big
hit. I love the Egg Nog version so I may stock up. This has got to be a
seasonal item. On the plus side, if it's doing well then it'll probably
be back by this time next year.

Well, the Sephora 20% off code is luring me. I have created a Favorites
list that will in no way be in my final order. I started surfing the site
last night, looking for items I've never tried or brands I've never played
with that look interesting. I also plopped in some tried and trues. Please
know, I will NEVER order most of the stuff on the list, but I will get some.
I am the Queen of Excess, but even the items below are too much for me! I'd
love to hear feedback on any of the stuff on my list or hear about your
list.
Large Gendarme fragrance for DH – I love the way this smells on him and we
are out.
Astara Activated Antioxidant Infusion – Still love this stuff. Thanks Fig!
Paul & Joe Face Color #28 The Rose – Never tried any of their stuff and this
looks like a pretty color of blush.
Smashbox Brow Tech Wax – This will replace my current spray a little
hairspray on my fingers and sweep over brows. I just want the wax, as I
still am extremely pleased with my Stephane Marais Brow Pencil.
Bare Escentuals Magic Wand Brushless Mascara – The reviews on MUA were so
incredibly mixed that I want to try it! I like my Stephane Marais brushless
mascara, so this might just work. I need to get a new mascara.
Blanx Classic Toothpaste – No idea why, but what the heck.
Luscious Lip Delites in Sanibel – Increased lips in just 2 weeks? I will be
Angelina finally!
TheBalm TimeBalm Under Eye Concealer – sounds like an interesting brand and
concealer is always a good thing.
Tony & Tina Environmental Rescue Luna Essence Liquid Foundation – Got to
have it for the name.
The new Delux concealers in the click together packaging.
TheBalm Shady Lady in Devious – I am determined to find a cream shadow that
works.
Tony & Tina Nail Paint Inner Love – Another what the heck.
Dr. Comenge cleanser, night cream and toner I love the eye cream and my
night cream samples have been wonderful.
I told you it was an obscene wish list!
