Cashmere sweaters (2 ply)

carolc...@aol.combyespam (Carol)
In my latest sale brochure from Macy's there will be a sale starting on
November 17th. There is an ad for charter club cashmere sweaters, v–neck and
turtleneck, in 12 colors for $79.99.
I know some are interested in cashmere so wanted to post this.
Also a 40% markdown on famous maker shoes.

I have at least three of these Charter Club sweaters and they are a good
buy at that price.

How is the fit on these sweaters? are they body conscious aka slim fitting
or are they more boxy in shape?
do they have different styles or cuts on these?

They are more boxy so I would go down a size.

I was looking around myself, and saw this cashmere blend sweater on
sale for $25. So cute...
And you can't beat the price.
What do you think?

Hmm. I knew that Sears has been suffering for at least the last 15 years
but I never thought it would come to this!

I think Jjjjjulie is pointing out "makeashorterlink.com" is a lot
nicer than the two–line monstrosity that only a database programmer
could love. OTOH, everyone knows "tinyurl.com" makes a shorter link
than "makeashorterlink.com" but it's probably close enough for
Government work as long as it doesn't word wrap.
However, that fact would be hidden if they changed "tinyurl.com" into
"makesashorterlinkthanmakeashorterlink.com" <grin/duck>

Stevie,
I second Audrey's recommendation. Courtesy of my MIL, I have approximately
12–15 of these Charter Club cashmere sweaters. They are good buys and wear
pretty well. They ARE more boxy. I can't really recommend on the sizing
because I'm not small enough for the fit to make much difference. I don't
want it to be too slim fitting anyway. But it seems that Audrey's rec
probably holds water.
HTH,
Jamie

My daughters are both fairly tall, 5'7" and 5'10", and I buy them
small. I wear a large but an XL is too big on the shoulders for me. I
don't like sweaters too fitted but my girls don't want them too boxy.
