| Anybody been to an Aveda training salon? |
| Hi all,
My regular (and cheap) hairdresser is out of commission for a long
while (about to give birth). I'm used to paying about 100 or so for
color or highlights...I've been phoning around and it looks like I'd
be paying closer to 200 now. wah!

| I was in Paris for a conference and had a few days to shop, eat, etc. Here
are my notes:
- the pastries are really the best in the world. I ended up eating pastries
for lunch (tarte tatin, crème brulee, millefeuilles with cream and
raspberries...)

| I had my hair cut on Friday, I didn't love it, didn't hate it. Didn't
say anything to the stylist (my regular stylist moved overseas, and this
was the first time I've been there since she left). Tip for that visit
was right at 15%.
