Ebay? Anyone Know Or Can Help Plz!

I cant find a board just to ebay so I was sure some of you on here
could help since you buy and sell on ebay alot..
I started looking at ebay for buy things (bad mistake!!)
Heres my question.. I have had such trouble with these "Selling it for
other people bussiness"
I bidded on a bunch of items they had listed for someone and I won
them by $1..I asked them before hand if they could ship items together
and they told me yes..
So i end up winning two of the items one is ($214) and the other is
($58)
On the site for the one for ($214) they have the thing to add to fig
out shipping before hand which told me it would be as showing below
this is copied from the site...
(Shipping Method Shipping & handling Insurance ( Required ) Total
United Parcel Service Ground $15.95 Insurance $0.75 Total $16.70
Which tell me if I'm wrong but the total would be $288.70
Then they have one of these built in check out things that takes me to
their own site which then tells me as below..
Shipping for above: United Parcel Service Ground: $17.18
Insurance: Insurance (add $0.95) $0.95
Subtotal $272.00
Shipping & Handling $17.18
Insurance $0.95
Order Total $290.13
I have tried to explain this to the people but they are telling me
they are right.. I mean its an $1.96 difference I'm not going to go
poor over it but it upsets me that people get away with this stuff..
From my point of view over here.. I already paid .75cent as it said so
on the shipping total on the EBAY site.. Then they wont let me go thru
check out with out adding in another .95cent for insureance.. and then
some how in the mess they have upped the shipping another .48cents so
I believe I'm paying for Insurance about 3 different times now.. And i
have emailed then 8 times asking them about this and wanting an answer
before I sent the money on thru.. Which time I get some silly answer
not even answering the question I've asked them.. But they can send me
daily reminders about it not being paid but cant answer my question..
At this point I could careless if i even pay for it after the way the
have acted but I have a very nice account with all 100% great feedback
and hate to have this mess my acount up..
But then again that would only be 2 badfeed backs from the same
person.. So I believe that only counts once doesnt it?
What would you guys do???
Then to top it off.. I hate pay pal but thought it would be the best
way to send them money and they will not let me add another credit
card with out going thru all these steps to have a 2nd one posted
(which will take a few days) so now they want a check which will take
a few days to even go get it when the bank opens on monday and send
them and then wait for them to get it, so yes I did get a lil huffy
and told them that if they cant wait for pay pal to add my new card
then they could just do whatever they wanted I was sick of wasting my
time on this matter.. And to believe I have gotten so upset over
pointless items on ebay..
Sigh!
