Hut Clogs With No Lip?

Userb3 <use...@yahoo.com>
I keep a pair of "hut clogs" at my cabin for winter weekends spent sitting
by the fire, making short trips out to get wood, and the occasional short
hike or run to town for supplies. I've been looking for a new pair, but
someone somewhere apparently decreed that all men's open back clogs would
either have a 2"+ tapered heel, or have that annoying lip around the back.
Doesn't anyone make a wide, low heeled open back clog that doen't have a
lip, and is waterproof enough for short trips through wet grass or light
snow? I love my Dansko closed back sport clogs (the perfect clog sole, in
my opinion), but they don't make an open back clog without the lip, and
they're a little pricey for hut clogs.
Suggestions?

No specific suggestion but I recommend you keep an eye on the offerings on
sierratradingcompany.com . You might also find your Danskos on ebay if you
are patient.

My clogs are the old fashioned wood sole kind. They never have a lip around
the back. They're very comfortable. I have bought them for years at a store
called Clog Master here in Los Angeles. At one time I had several different
colors, but currently am down to just a black pair.
The store has a web page at www.clogmaster.com
