BAG, BORROW OR STEAL – FAKE BAGS! Whoa!

I just wanted to point out that i just read in WWD that this company
(bag, borrow and steal) has just settled with GUCCI out of court for
selling and renting FAKE bags! I am bummed because I thought it was an
interesting idea – even though my boyfriend was like, "what a terrible
business model – how on earth will they make any money?" – now i know
– they buy FAKES! then they rake in the money from unsuspecting
consumers. I am disgusted with people!!!!!!
good warning though. spread the word before your friends get taken.

NEW YORK — Gucci America Inc. reached a settlement with a retailer
renting and selling knockoff Gucci handbags through its Web site.
