66 degrees On the 30th a mean–spirited person stole my two pumpkins.
I only had them out one night. We had close to 50 children and they all
adored the shreiking ghost I bought in Georgetown eight years ago. It
is motion activated and at least no little ones cried this year. This
morning is cool with frost on the lawn. For walking I wore a Land's End
thermafleece jacket in white, white turtleneck, Nordstrom iris
sweatpants and the usual tennis shoes and socks. I'll probably stay in
these clothes for household chores and planting but then change to the
following for errands later in the morning

Cloudy, humid and 70s. The kids are off school today. We're staying in most of
the day but will head out for errands later this afternoon.

Cool and misty...didn't mind the 45 minute wait to vote early this
morning. Behind me was high school senior in lacrosse gear voting in
her first national election; ahead of me was a retiree with a leopard
print bag voting in her 15th!
(We'll watch the returns, but will take a Bravo break at 9 p.m. CST to
catch the first new episode of "Queer Eye" in awhile!)
I filled a Crock Pot with black bean chili ingredients and got dressed
in:
Deux Mille black scoop–neck puckery knit top with a red/gold/black
bridle–esque motif
Coldwater Creek long–sleeved black wrap/tie sweater––rather than tied
at the waist, which puts a knot right where I don't need it, I wrapped
the ends one over the other and tucked them in the waistband.

black leather square–toed Nicole short boots w/ 2" heel
thin goldtone watch with black face and wedding ring on L; five very
thin goldtoned bangles––two with bone accents, three with rhinestones

dots for outside

Went to the polls, drove to Banana Republic at the Old Orchard store for an
item our store didn't receive, stopped for lunch, and currently working on the
rest of my research paper for Business Law tonight:
