Weird bumps on forehead – shampoo recommendation?

"MustKillMoe–Wheee!" &l...@home.com>
I get these teeny–tiny flesh–colored bumps only on my forehead, so I assume
it's from my hair care products (or should I say, product). I don't use a
conditioner, and only rarely use gel.
Would a shampoo for oily hair help with this? (I've read that excess oil on
the scalp can land on the forehead) or would a zinc/dandruff shampoo be
good?
Thanks.

Just because it's only on your forehead doesn't necessarily mean that it's
your shampoo, but that is an easy thing to check. Many people have skin
reactions to fragrances and other additives in shampoos, so try a very basic
clear* shampoo for a week or two to see if the bumps disappear.
*I suggested clear since many "creamy" opaque shampoos contain silicones
that are known to cause clogged pores on some people.

It could be the hair products, but it could also be other things. I had that
problem once. I started using Clinique toner every morning and night and it
cleared it up really really well.

I have very dry skin, but I've noticed I get those bumps when I use shampoo
that has a lot of fragrance.
