shortening pants question

"betteeboop" <betteebo...@msnremovetoreply.com>
maybe there's someone out there who can help me with my dilemma –– seems
that every pair of shoes i have (and i tend toward comfortable dansko clogs
with either backs or the slides) catch the back of my pants. i shorten my
own pants. should the pants be longer (then they bunch up on the front of
shoes) or shorter (not as long a line –– i'm under 5') ... or is this
something that happens to everyone? it drives me nuts, and i think it looks
dopey. thanks in advance. and happy halloween to you all!

I vote longer, with the front hemmed a bit shorter than the back so that it
doesn't bunch on the foot. This works on almost all my pants except one
pair of wide straight leg jcrew slacks. For some reason, these tend to
bunch under my foot when I'm wearing sandals.
