Is there any way to fade jeans?

"cloud nine" <if...@yahoo.com>
Have a problem with my very favorite pair of jeans. The back pockets had
stitching over them, a design on the pockets. One of the pockets stitching
had been fraying off and I really had no alternative but to take the
decorative stitching off. They still look great except that you can kind of
see where the stitching was. They are darker where the stitching was, if
that makes sense. Is there anyway to get the whole pocket to look the same
color denim? Or will I be lucky enough that it will begin to blend in after
they are washed a few dozen times?
TIA for any help!!

That's about it, Sue. Wash, wash, wash. Hot water if the fabric can stand it,
but make sure you wash them alone. Using a harsher detergent like Sun would
help.

Try a Clorox bleach pen in those specific areas. HTH
