How'd ya like it? We had seats on the courtyard area, which afforded
me
exposure to vistas I don't get to see here in SoFla. I also had the
hermosa
salad, braised short ribs and pear tart.
Well, I'd be there more for the socializing and looking than anything
else.
Auctions are GREAT for selling but lousy for buying.

The storm cooled down the temperature on Thursday so I switched our
reservations from outdoors to the Stetson room. DH had a buck antelope
appetizer with a small tamale and corncake. He had the salad with the
mustard viniagrette, marinated pork and the pear tart. I had the salad
with the citrus viniagrette on the side, the marinated lamb and blood
orange sorbet for dessert. He thought my dessert was better than the
tart. On Saturday at the local bistro I had a bitter almond granita
with thinly sliced pears from the Fioli gardens. Now it's back to
dessertless boot camp.
