I bought the travel sized package of four Rodan & Fields Radiant collection:
Exfoliant Facial Cleanser, Skin Lightening Toner, Skin Lightening Lotion,
and Sunscreen. The Exfoliant Facial Cleanser is not only the most abrasive
cleanser I have ever used, it made my face break out like it hasn't seen I
was in my early teens. The toner doesn't seem much different from water.
The Skin Lightening Lotion feels like Olay Regenerist and doesn't appear to
have lightened any dark spots, although it is hard to tell since my face is
all red and mottled from the cleanser. The sunscreen is like a million
others.
The products are expensive and I wouldn't buy any of them again.

I would think that the travel size package wouldn't last long enough
for a lot of people to see any results. The main bleaching ingredient
from the Radiant line is 2% hydroquinone and everything I've read is
that it takes a few months for this bleaching ingredient (and it's
alternatives like kojic acid) to work. An aesthetician I talked to
said that while the 2% hydroquinone would be good for overall
brightening (all over the face as R+F recommends), you would a higher
strength (higher pecentage) prescription hydroquinone/bleaching agent
from a dermatologist for the dark spots to effectively fade. That and
really good sunscreen to prevent new spots from forming.
Just my $0.02,
