Designer Valentino on Oprah

definitely choose Valentino. A RED Valentino.
I *do* have a Valentino Boutique dress that I got on ebay. It's heavy pink
silk with a seashell design; it is basically a shirtwaist, but the skirt is
two layers of knife pleats edged with what seems like miles of a narrow self
ruffle. All of it, including the two layers of rolled hem on the ruffles, is
hand–stitched. I have only worn it once; I don't even think it fits me
very well. But the workmanship is amazing and I keep it just to admire it
from time to time.

Didn't they say something about a new part of his line that will be
affordable called "Red"? I watched most of this but couldn't pay all
attention to the interview because of the squealing kids. I'm thankful that
my boys are happy enough to squeal and play together! And wherever I am, in
this case the kitchen, they follow.
Any more info on that line? I thought he was a wonderful gentlemen (I knew
nothing about him personally) and the dresses were beautiful to say the
least.

He was a favorite of Jackie O.
Having an affordable line from him sounds interesting. Considering
the normal price range for his designs is in the thousands I doubt
this new line will be very "affordable." (but I'm hopeful)
