recommended (affordable but great) shopping places in nyc

hello. i live across the street from the issey miyake store on madison
in the upper east side and am itching to find cheaper digs around
manhattan or brooklyn. issey miyake is a gem, but rather expensive for
my budget at the moment. any suggestions?
