nyc Spa Week – Have you gone? Share your experiences

airam1002...@yahoo.com (Maria)
I'm very surprised that no one else has posted about this already.
For the week of 10/18–23 a number of day spas in nyc are conducting a
sale.
During this week some of these spas' services will be priced at $50
+tip/tax (regardless of original cost)

Check the web site above for list of participating spas. Because of
high demand some of the spas have prolongued the sale for another week
so you may still have time to book a treatment. It's a great,
inexpensive way to try a new beauty treatment/massage you have been
debating about.
I went to Eden for a facial yesterday and found it a very pleasant
experience well worth the $50 fee. The salon has a great lounge area
with subdued lighting, and comfy sofas that's an optimal spot to relax
before or after your treatment. The spa offers fresh fruit, crackers
and all kind of juices and tea as snacks, plus a healthy seletion of
fashion magazines for their customers enjoyment.
I had never come across the spa–addicts web site before, but found it
to be a good way to find out what specials/sales are available at many
of nyc'spas.
I hope some of you are able to go, and share your experiences.

Funny you should mention it...I just booked a spa–week appointment at a local
spa (Broadway?). It looks like a lot of the services are 'sold out' according
to the spa–addicts site. I'll post my review tomorrow!
