What arrived in the mail today

I received the items I bought at Saks in Denver last Wednesday. The
black and white herringbone skirt was marked down from $168 to $116.
The slacks were $138. They are charcoal with a contour waistband and
flat front, slim fit with lots of stretch. I won't take them to AZ
tomorrow but I know I can use the $25 gift card. I was in the right
place at the right time for this sale!

Yesterday, I opened the door to find a package from Amazon sent by my
sis as a BD surprise. Inside were DVDs: The Director's Cut of Hellboy
on 3 Dvds, very cooly packaged; and Van Helsing, which I've been
wanting to see.

Yesterday, quite late via UPS–
order from Barneys that included Stila AOS duo with gold and silver, a
replacement Studio Favorites to make up for the one that crushed en route, and
gratis of Grapefruit lipglaze, Sheer Color sample and very cute bag, which I do
not have one of yet.
Earlier, a replacement Fanny Lifter from Firm Direct as I had called to
complain about the rubber soles slipping off too easily and had requested
replacement soles. They replaced the whole thing which impressed me.

(forgotten I had already had one in my "basket" and went ahead and ordered) and
Stila Media Shy palette. Also yet ANOTHER sample of Major Lash mascara (this

Actually, yesterday:
A sweet Hanukkah gift from a special AFer that included a pink
gel pen with adorable hats and other fashion assessories printed
on it, initial stationery, and a box of the most heavently Belgian
chocolated ever.
I feel so spoiled.
Also, two things I ordered weeks ago and had almost forgotten
about – both non–Christmas gifts for friends I've met here.
And, a personally autographed book from a tech author who I
adore, and two very fancy invitations to parties.
My SS gift will be mailed out today.

Actually, either Friday or Saturday when I was away, my Sephora
order, including a couple of olive eye pencils for me (which I know
work wonderfully with hazel eyes – thanks to last year's SS) and my
Secret Santee's gift. It's a lot smaller than I had expected, but SO
absolutely adorable.
Since Sephora is notorious for putting a pound and a half of tissue
paper in every box, I was able to add some samples and other
goodies to the box before wrapping it (talk about guilding the lilly!)
This is such fun!
