Christine Cato <ret...@andrew.cmu.edu>
. . . . If I post much more I am going to have to admit that I am not
just lurking (I wonder if anyone can admit to lurking for 7+ years??) . .
..
Are these boots too Ugg–y? I can't decide . . . .

If I saw those I'd assume they were Uggs or knock–offs.
I personally don't think that's a bad thing though.

They look like knock–off Uggs. Not that it's a bad thing. Uggs are
ridiculous for Los Angeles, but now that I have moved to a place that is
already hitting freezing temps in October, they don't seem like a bad idea.

BTD: They look sort of noncommittal(?) Suede is bad in rain or snow so I
don't understand the type of sole they have which looks like it's for rain
or snow or maybe wading through mud. It's essentially a "slip on" boot. I'd
think if you wanted it to slip on to go outside in the fall, where it's a
little cooler and you want to keep your ankles and calves warm – e.g.,
driving to the corner store with the car coat, they'd be okay. You can get
them in black so the design would be less noticeable
