What arrived in the mail today

"ahmward" <nospam.ahmw...@yahoo.com>
I received two boxes from Nordstrom. One had the Karen Neuberger pink
ribbon pjs, robe and socks and the other had Sesto Meucci cert loafers
in a dark brown moc croc. I don't like the white stitching on the
loafers but they are affordable and comfortable so I will keep them. I
loved the black ones I ordered last year.

Prince Andrew was at our local Nordstrom here in Downtown Seattle the other
day. I wasn't there, but I saw him on the news. It was pre–planned, of
course, but it wasn't announced ahead to the public ahead of time. Shoppers
just strolled in to the store, and there he was with some bodyguards.

I was all over those last winter after Trilby posted about them, but
recently gave them to charity as they felt all wrong for me this fall.
Just didn't strike my mood this year, I guess. They worked well in MPLS,
but don't 'fit' here, IYKWIM. Nice shoe though, and well made. My casual
loafer that took its place this year is the Børn "Hearth" black slip on
loafer.

Last fall I was wearing the Trilby loafer in black and a chocolate brown
suede Joan and David model, but neither has been perfectly comfortable.
Now that I've discovered Arthur Beren on–line, I just ordered the
"Diletta" loafer in brown:
http://www.berenshoes.com/Detail.bok?no=1109
because I could get it in something other than a B width. I also like
the fact that I can switch the ornament from silver to gold tone.
In today's mail I received a Vince black and gray argyle cashmere
cardigan from Bergdorf.com.

Please report back on the comfort factor of these shoes. I have the hardest
time buying shoes because most of them, often regardless of price, are not
comfortable. I end up wearing the same ones over and over again and I buy
new shoes so very rarely now.

I'actually wore my Stuart Weitzman grammercy loafers. I bought them a
year ago in August but forgot about them most of last winter.

Black suede pointy toed flats from BR in size 5, and they're too big! I
wear size 5.5 & 6 for flats in other brands. [sigh] I can't believe that
the shoes are getting vanity sized!

my Yoga Booty Ballet set, which I've already previewed. this looks like FUN.
Kids have already tried to claim the "squishy ball" that comes with it. Nope,
not this time.
