Sally Hansen Face–Glow was: dewy vs shiney

"Jean" <gone_a...@adelphia.net>
I picked up this new oil–free luminizer in Baby Doll Shimmer (pale pink)
yesterday at Rite Aid. They have 3 colors, a pearlish white and bronze.
I mixed it with my moisturized this morning and am not sure of the result,
actually. (It was an attempt to not wear any foundation) While it did
provide some coverage, it thought it was a tad shiney.
Which brings me to my question. What is the difference between "dewey" and
shiney? <is there a difference or is it a nicer name, lol?>
Opinions, anyone?

To me, dewy is what you look like if you are outside in the shade but not
overly exerting yourself on a very hot day; shiny is what you get if you do
the same thing and have oily skin.

To me, dewy is what the skin under my eyes looks like after applying my beloved
Dior Anti–Fatigue undereye concealer.
Oily is what the rest of my skin looks like if I don't use blot papers all
day.
