how did the DVF wrap dress work for you?

Hey Miss K,
Sorry to take so long to reply. The DVF dress only showed up Wednesday.
The C Vaile dress has loads of fabric with good overlap/coverage of the
boobages. The fabric is very slinky and clingy, though, so the dress
pretty much demands perfect undergarments and a bloatfree day. Since
neither tends to be around just when I need them most, I will probably
send the dress back to NM.
The DVF dress is another matter altogether. It is cut quite close to the
bodythe sleeves in particular have a high, tight '70s feel. Also,
there is simply not enough fabric overlap in the bodice. It is very
lowcut and I'd need to pin it shut to remain reliably decently clothed.
Also, I think my hourglass has a few too many minutes in the top and
bottom for me to wear leopard printparticularly silky lowcut leopard
print. A friend was visiting and I had her try it on. It looked
fantastic with her Italian coloring and 5' 4" 130 lb figure, so I gave
it to her.
