I'm probably one of the few people who weighs her hair down on purpose.
The more damaged it gets, the more puffy, frizzy and unruly it gets.
Today I used
Kerastase "Bain Satin" shampoo
with Kerastase "Lait Vital Proteine" conditioner on the ends
Then more shampoo with Garnier Fructis Fortifying Creme Conditioner on
the ends
Then Matrix Biolage Fortifying Conditioner all over for about ten minutes
Then a pump of Kerastase OleoRepair glossing lotion
and Stephen Knoll Obedient Sculpting Gel
Believe it or not, it came out great.

Trilby,
I weigh my hair down too. My hairdresser said one that "there is no
such thing as too much product when it comes to [my] hair." I only wash
it 2x's a week in order to increase the weighed downness. It'll be
interesting to see if we have similar hair when we finally do have a chi
town gettogether!
This week, I straightened my hair after weeks of letting it be wild and
curly (it hasn't been as humid this week, so my hair is far less frizzy
and wavy):
colored it with Revlon high dimension in rich gold (a little too gold
this time 'cause I left it on a little too long, I think)
revlon high dimension conditioner
neutrogena triple moisture deep conditioner for a couple hours
then the daily triple moisture conditioner.
Then, after towel dried, a combo of pave straightener, bonacure leave in
conditioner, neutrogena TM leave in conditioner and the neutrogena
triple moisture serum (I ought buy stock in this triple moisture stuff).
Then I went to sleep, and my hair was almost dry in the morning, which
is annoying (my hair takes soooo long to dry). When I straighten, I put
more of the neutrogena TM serum on each section in order to make it
smoother and happier.
