Fashion Magazines

"Linda Flake" <lefl...@gte.net>
If you were going to subscribe to one magazine to stay current with the
fashions, which magazine would you recommend? To which magazine would you
subscribe to learn about putting clothes together to create your own style?

I like InStyle for my own personal look and putting things together.
But I like things simple, but look good at the same time. I also have
to wear work clothes I don't mind if they get ruined so spending a lot
of clothes is not something I do, unless I know I'm not wearing for work.

Vogue or W, or, if cost were not an issue, WWD.

If I really didn't have any idea: In Style for the monthly tutorial, or Lucky.
Otherwise, Vogue.

Lucky, for both purposes. Lucky always has several looks I'd wear, and I get a
lot of ideas. Vogue and Bazaar are good to look through to see what the trends
are, but sometimes their fashion spreads are more concept–oriented and wouldn't
translate easily to real life (or at least MY real life).

I really like Marie Claire especially the Splurge vs. Steal stories. I find
myself purchasing this one the most.
