This is oddly a relevant alt.fashion topic, since it has everything to
do with trends in food presentation!
My Mum's recipe books and cooking magazines from the Seventies and
before are full of pictures like this.
In fact, I know some people who still display food like this and who
are very proud of their cooking skills!!

I just can't believe how anyone could have conceived of a jellied salad as a
