OK so my Prada bag needs Repair......Where can I go?

The lining on my Prada bag is becoming undone (yikes!)
I'm in NYC so I called Art Bag. They tell me the tab will be $49 & Up
(if only re–stitching is needed, the sky is the limit if re–lining is
called for) and 3 weeks to get the job done.
I don't know if I'll be able to stand to part with my Prada for that
long....
so I am asking those of you in NYC. What places do you trust to
repair your prized bags? I am looking for recommendations,
suggestions.

Artbag is still the only place I would trust to repair a handbag.
When I moved away from NYC and had to have bags repaired elsewhere they
were always ruined. So much so that I gave up buying designer handbags.
