Does anyone know if Valentino is a big name in Italy ?

Valentino is one of the most elegant aqnd popular designers in the world.
Discounting the licensed stuff (which all designers have) Valentino creates
very wearable, beautifully tailored, clothing. Valentino probably appears less
popular here because his clothes appeal to a more genteel and monied client.
And he doesn't have to do funk to get his collections in the magazine. He'll
rarely knock you out with an eye popper. Normally his work is a little more
subtle.
Think of Tom Fored –– only with talent.
Let's just say you're not going to find Valentino in your local friendly
Walmaert or Big K –– more likely Bergdorf's or Needless markup.
