I'm rereading _Trap for Cinderella_ by Sebastien Japrisot as I never did get
around to while on vacation last month.
Julie P.
How do you reread something you never read to begin with?
She probably means she never got around to rereading it.
Right now I'm finishing the No. 1 Ladies Detective Agency and
starting _Who's Your Fave Rave?_ by Randi Reisfeld and Danny Fields. It's
a compendium of articles from 16 Magazine, from the days of Elvis and the
Everly Brothers to Shaun Cassidy and Leif Garrett. This is so hilarious I
don't know where to begin. How anyone could have had crushes on some of
these characters boggles the mind. I mean, can you believe Jonathon Frid
from Dark Shadows used to be huge? I used to tune in from time to time
just to listen to the guy muff his lines. I can't believe anyone ever had
a crush on him.
It's also hilarious to see the Stones and Jim Morrison in there. Then
there groups like the Cowsills and the Osmonds that I would pay big bucks
to forget completely. And the people like Andy and David Williams that
I've never heard of. Thank goodness.
I highly recommend it.
